BRAD PITT ISN’T DATING AN MIT PROFESSOR: Shattering the dreams of nerdy women everywhere, MIT professor Neri Oxman confirms that she never had a fling with Brad Pitt, despite persistent rumors to contrary. In a New York Times profile, she “emphatically” denied dating Pitt. The 42-year-old met Pitt via an architecture project at MIT, where she words as a professor of media arts and sciences. Pitt, 54, is still working through the details of his split from Angelina Jolie, with whom he shares six children.
DUCHESS OF YORK SIGNS ON AS DIET PITCHWOMAN: The Duchess of York has signed on to represent dietician Gianluca Mech, per Page Six. Former Weight Watchers spokesperson Sarah Ferguson is evidently trying to drop a few for her daughter Princess Eugenie’s wedding. The new diet products Mech pushes “guaranteed weight loss” no matter how much pizza you consume with the help of her “diuretic tonic” and other products.
With his divorce from Jennifer Garner and his third stint in rehab in the rearview, Ben Affleck headed to Montana with girlfriend Shauna Sexton. The 22-year-old Playboy model made the trip—and their relationship—Instagram official, showing off waterfalls and wildlife in her Stories. One shot in Big Sky, Montana included a photo of the 46-year-old Affleck looking out of the window of his SUV at a deer. In another, she shows off her just-caught fish. This is the first time Sexton has posted a picture of Affleck to her public accounts, but it’s not the first time she’s addressed their relationship.
Kanye West will reportedly visit the White House on Thursday (October 11th). According to The New York Times, the rapper is set to meet with Donald Trump and his son-in-law/senior adviser Jared Kusher. The meeting is expected to focus on criminal justice, where West is supposedly seeking job opportunities for former convicts. On another note, according to People, Kanye reportedly deleted his social media because his “his rants were becoming unhealthy.” A source told the publication, “When he gets into these Twitter rants, it’s very difficult for him to stop. It’s like an obsession and it actually affects his life. He knows it’s not healthy, so he wants to take things down a notch.” As previously reported, Kanye removed himself from social media over the weekend.
DAKOTA JOHNSON DENIES BEING PREGNANT: Dakota Johnson is correcting reports (through her rep, per People) that she is pregnant with her boyfriend Chris Martin’s baby. It all started after pink and blue balloons were spotted at the Coldplay frontman’s home. Reps explain that Johnson was just celebrating her 29th birthday. It ended up being a star-studded fete, with her parents Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, as well as pals Julia Roberts and Sean Penn stopping by to party.
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees passed Peyton Manning to become the NFL’s all-time yards passing leader last night (October 8th) in the Saints’ 43-19 Monday Night Football win over the Washington Redskins. The 39-year-old Brees broke Manning’s record at home in the Superdome with a 62-yard touchdown to Tre’Quan Smith near the end of the first half, after entering the game needing 201 yards to pass the 71,940 yard record mark.
