Miranda Lambert Splits from Newly Divorced Boyfriend: Miranda Lambert has officially moved on from boyfriend Evan Felker after six months together. She revealed that she was now “happily single” after a celebrity magazine (People) confirmed that Felker’s band, the Turnpike Troubadours, recently dropped out of Lambert’s “The Bandwagon Tour.”
J-Lo and A-Rod Move in Together: J.Lo and A-Rod recently invested in a New York penthouse, located on Park Avenue in the world’s tallest apartment building and costing a cool $15.3 million. The new digs are nothing to sneeze at, featuring a movie theater, pool room, spa, and more special amenities. Last October, J.Lo put her 26th Street penthouse on the market for $27 million.
MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY ADOPT DOG: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have welcomed a new member to their clan, People reports. The pair adopted a Labrador pup in the early summer. Their new BFF joins Meghan’s beagle, Guy. She had to leave one of her dogs, a rescue, behind in Toronto with friends when she got engaged to Harry, so now Guy will have a new canine to kick around with.
As Ben Affleck sits in rehab, there’s one less thing he has to worry about — his divorce. According to TMZ, Ben and Jennifer Garner have settled their divorce case and will file the settlement in court after he completes his treatment for alcohol addiction. The former couple, who didn’t have a prenup, have reached a property settlement and agreed to joint custody of their three children. TMZ says that “the settlement is complete, but it hasn’t been signed because of sobriety issues.” Ben, who’s reportedly fallen off the wagon for the last year and a half, checked into rehab last week after Jennifer staged an intervention. The two actors announced their separation in 2015 but didn’t file for divorce until this April.
DID DEMI LOVATO KNEW THE RISK SHE WAS TAKING? Demi Lovato’s alleged drug dealers tells TMZ that she knew she was taking a chance when she consumed “after market pills.” Brandon Johnson tells the site that Lovato texted him on the morning she OD’d, asking him to come over. He brought over pills that they freebased, which ended up being laced with Fentanyl. He left and a few hours later her assistant found her in distress and called 911. Lovato is now in rehab.
WHITNEY HOUSTON’S BODYGUARD COSTUME NABS FIVE FIGURES: Whitney Houston’s Queen of the Night costume from 1992’s Bodyguard sold at auction for $12,000, The Blast reports. Meanwhile, Dr. Evil’s costume from Austin Powers sold for $9.600, Winona Ryder’s hazmat suit from Stranger Things landed $9,000 and a pair of Jawa boots from Star Wars nabbed $7.800. NEIL SIMON DIES AT 91: The acclaimed playwright Neil Simon has died. He was 91. The prolific, Pulitzer Prize-winning creator is beloved for classic comedies including The Odd Couple, Barefoot in the Park, The Sunshine Boys and Brighton Beach Memoirs. Simon was one of the most commercially successful writers in American history, and became a mainstay in the entertainment industry for six decades.
